@TheBikemaster94 i’ve heard mixed reviews on the CNS carbs; that you need to do extra things to your ports and gotta get an expansion exhaust…but id like to look into that some day. but deff wanna get an expansion chamber exhaust..but the kit cost 130/150 and the exhaust cost 65/80 dollars its hard to justify.
I had one the best upgrade for me was the CNS carb and i would also suggest the expansion chamber exhaust
@milkcrate82 yea,they also sale chain tenisoners that you can bolt to the frame. like i say in the video, do away with it all together and get a half link and rear hub adapter. best thing you can do. my spokes broke the same way. good luck on your builds
Nice build man! I got the final assembly done on mine a couple days ago. First time I tried to start it, the original chain tensioner folded inward and bent and broke several spokes. I welded up my own tensioner today and it’s MUCH better. Does that pirate hub have some adjustability? I actually broke my chain too. I’m trying to adjust the engine placement to get the chainline straight. As you know, no adjustability with those rag joints.
@texasRGV negative sir…..if you cap the muffler back off once removing the baffle….the pressure is still there. its when you leave the exhaust uncapped that the problem rises.
Hi Take your youtube video to fit on a single channel of bicycles with motor.Gracias
If you look at it …..
@texasRGV iv got a 34 on order … just 4 speed untill i get my shifter kit =)
@FPSAustralian1 36 teeth, but 40-42 is ideal
What size sprocket at rear ?
What size sprocket at rear ? =)
What size sprocket > at rear ? =)
remove everything inside of stock pipe and put the end back on using jb weld or a set screw . then youve got a pretty good expansion chamber …ps dont put on a big cns style carb unless you also take into consideration the size of your intake manifold ..use a dremel n match your ports exaust and intake most of the time the intake manifold is to small also a boost bottle will help w idle and top end ..ps these motors need to breathe !!
@daswamps808 i did something better and drilled extra holes in the baffle, removing the baffle makes it louder and not much faster, i hear the real performance is in the expansion chamber exhaust, this motors need back pressure, removing the baffle defeats that….thanks for your interest.
remove the baffle from exhaust bike difference n u can always put it back
